At 11,she stood on the precipice
With dolls floating between her ears
And new worlds expanding below her waist
Without wings ,her body was a prison
At 13,the ocean fell
A bottomless tide ferried her to Daddy’s lap
Which no longer had room for a woman
And men whose stares grab
When no one is looking
Below water ,her body was a volcano
At 15,she stood unarmed before infantries
Who deemed her errain to be clean
A predator’s wet dream
Without weapons, her body was an invitation
At 17,she was sold to the highest bidder
Her ringed finger a prize
For a husband three times her size
Without warning, her body was a trophy
I will come with you into Meadows
And watch you wrap your arms
Around winds
Even as the sun dances into twilight..
Then will I wait for you in shadows
Hold my breath till noon
While you measure our SunGlory
With flashes of PureDelight
Still rolling in your eyes.
I will help you gather a harvest of butterflies
Still counting gentle murmurs in your voice
Blowing to winds a song fo endlesslonging
Searching forever searching horizons
For a lover so long gone into soultime
And when you cross the fonal path Beyond our hope
I will walk back home with moon
Counting stars still waiting in shadows
